Sampled at bottleshare. 2011 bottle. Wasn’t sure of the style, whole have guessed Berliner, but with a bigger body. Slight sour. Slight tart. Very smooth and refreshing. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - DEC 22, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2014 [Bottle, 2011 / 2 years old] Moderately hazy, golden-amber body with a quickly fading white head. Aroma is mild with notes of lightly tart wheat, lemon, light orange zest, grass, yeast, bread, & musty spice. Taste is actually a little sour with some wheat, lemon, Belgian yeast & spices, & a little bit of white pepper. It’s like a lightly soured version of Duvel. Sour, dry wheat & yeast finish with a touch of must. I assume some of the sourness wasn’t as present fresh, but it’s actually quite nice. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Live rate: 14 karat pour with a razor thin white head that leaves quickly. Nose of Belgian yeast, candied fruit, peppery spice and honey baked biscuit. Flavor similar...quite sweet with lots of caramel & toffee. High ABV is a bit noticeable. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - JUN 8, 2013

Growler. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Yeasty clove aroma with pale malt aromas. Flavor is quite yeasty, bubble gum and clove, with pale malts, some hoppy citrus, herbal and pear flavors. Quite a nice homage to Duvel.
