December 2008 bottle. Gushing dirty orange head. What the fuck? Control your shit guys. Color is intensely rich and deep orange, with a viscous and thick texture from the bottle to the glass. Nose is hugely sweet mandarin orange citrus hops, huge notes of sweet honey, some earthy, dusty, dirty yeast, and some raw broccoli and sugar snap pea vegetable greenness. Flavor is HUGELY sweet, unbelievably cloying to the point of being downright disgusting. Thick, rich, resinous, fusel, alcohol heavy, oh my fucking god. If there was a recipe to create a sugared, alcohol laden abortion of an IPA, this would be it. No way this is the 7% version, so the rating goes here.
Bottle from 2008. Pours hazy golden with a light white head. Aroma is sweet malts, alcohol, lemon grass and a hint of hops. Flavor is caramel malts, dried out hops, and alcohol. Has a very dry almost burnt finish. phaleslu (10898) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 23, 2011
12 oz. bottle shared by jckp64- thanks, John! 2008 bottle. Pours a murky, dull old gold with a small off-white head that settles into a ring. Everything about this reminds me of 120 Minute IPA- resin, lemon citrus, earth, caramel malts, sweet bread, grapefruit peel, and alcohol heat. Medium-full bodied, with a resinous, boozy mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Yep, just reminds me of 2008 120 Minute. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2010
This poured a clear orange color with a very small white head. Aroma was loads of citrusy and piney hops masking strong alcohol. Fl;avor was very bitter in the forefront and fruity from the hops, with a long really warm and sweet finish. This is some really big beer.! Deep amber pour. The nose is quite hoppy but also has a significant sort of toffeeish sweetness. Sweet pale malt and a kiss of orange peel. Earthy and resinous with a nice fresh bright hoppiness. Clean but slightly boozy. Okay, but a little bit unbalanced. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 8, 2010
tasty but I wouldn’t call it that extreme. Arouma of floral hops, Smooth caramel malts, some grassy cirtusy hops, finishes boozy with some astringency.

Hazy light amber color, big head, frothy. Very nice hop aroma, fruity (apricots), fresh, a bit sweaty. Strong body, probably too much alcoholic, with malt flavor, light residual sweetness, strong bitterness, but also light suspicious sourness. Unfortunately there is a problem here.
12 oz bottle "2008" Hazy orange pour with a huge frothy head. Aroma is sticky bready malt, subdued grapefruit citrus hop. Flavor is Citrus hops, bready, caramel malt and a healthy dose of booze on the finish. Grapefruit hop flavor profile dominates the mouth with some caramel maltiness. Juicy sweet fruitiness in the center is quickly overwhleming by a wallop of citrus before that is engulfed by a boozey sweet caramel finish. Hazy medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, nutty - leather, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, grapefruit, overripped fruit, light to moderate alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic.
12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with a huge tan to yellow head. Aroma is slight cheesy and distinct grapefruity hops. Dense citrusy, oranges, peaches and grapefruity flavoured. Bitter and sweet, mild cheesy note. Sweet and citric/bitter finish. Lasting fruity impression.
