Bottle thanks to Todd. A big cloudy orange toffee color with a small white head. A big fruity nose. Huge fruity oxidized notes, toffee, apricots, some spiciness. Quite good.

Hazy golden with a little foam. Nose is spicy, some esters, flavour is very similar. Smooth and not as malty as a lot of grand cru's I have had. Always good beer from this brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy deep gold beer. Semi dry and crisp palate. Fresh sharp orange with a bitter edge. Subtle touch of honey. Maybe a little coriander spice. Finishes crisp and semi dry with more bitter orange. Refreshing and livens the taste buds!

Hazy golden pour, small white head. Big aroma of tropical fruit, yeast, and some subtle spices. Light, wattery mouth feel, medium bitterness. Big fruity finish, pineapple, and apricot, with some banana. Light spice and some alcohol.

Pour hazy golden orange with thin whit head. Aroma spicy, fruity, yeast, slight sourness, banana runts. Taste yeasty, bready, peppery, malt, banana, lemon, solid malt backbone. MF medium body light carb. Well done a tasty unique brew abv well hidden.

Very cool, a new Kuhnhenn tick for me, thanks Mark. Pours hazy deep gold with off white head. The aroma has spicy hops, apricots, more spicy hops and yeast and sort of green fruit skins. Interesting. The taste starts with a pulse of spicy hops and spicy yeast and quickly gives way to yummy sweet caramel candy and then rolling into sweet apples slices and a sense of white wine into the finish.

I’m always hesitant to venture into a brewery’s grand cru offering since it often ends up a syrupy alcoholic mess. This one however is much more subtle and pleasant and breaks that mold. A spicy, golden belgian style of beer with a cloudy dark yellow look and a frothy white head. Spicy aroma and a smooth thick dark grain aroma coming up as well. Full bodied, banana and deep wheat sort of flavor. Finish is peppery and a hint of lemon. A nice belgian strong ale that is a pleasant grand cru.

Thanks to Markwise for the share. Pours a cloudy orange, with a big white head. Smells of coriander and orange peel, and the flavor is the same as the smell. Really good brew that didn’t taste like a big alcohol beer.

Thanks to FlandersNed for this one in trade. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, spices, belgian yeast, banana, and some light/ tropical fruit. Flavor is roughly the same- sweet malts, spices, belgian yeast and banana with some other fruity esters and yeast. Belgian with a medium body and lingering sweet fruit in the finish.
