Hazy deep blond color. The arm ahas sweetish malt, coriander, plastic, light mint. Sweet body, a bit too much vegetables avvented (wrong fermetation temperature?). The final, being a bit fruity and sweet, is pleasant. Not impressive.

12 oz. thanks clint! pours a crystal clear pale amber with no head or lace. rosy, spicy nose, pleasant and complex and mildly desserty. creamy medium body showing lively carb. roses, baking spices, caramel, and toast on the mid palate. long toasty rosy finish.

Bottle from badbeer. Thanks! Poured a hazy light orange color with an off white head. Some lace was left behind on the glass at the end. Pleasant fruity aroma with distinct melon and apricot accented by pear and baking spices. Smelled great. Medium bodied with carbonation on the higher end of the spectrum. Sweet and prickly on the tongue with a warming alcohol effect. I tasted melon, orange liqueur, clove, and ginger. A bit of harsh alcohol came out at the end, but I liked this quite a bit. Pours a cloudy but bright golden orange with a one-inch cream-colored head that collects around the edges as a thick collar with some bubbles feeding it from the bottom.
The aroma is a mix of banana and bubblegum sweetness of a hefe and the spicy yeast and fruity esters of a tripel. There are light peppery spices in the nose as well.
The taste is slightly more amped up with the fruity esters really starting to become more prominent with the bananas taking a back seat. There are some sugar-coated green apples and pears - very sweet taste overall. The finish is lightly spicy with a slight dryness - maybe some grains of paradise?
The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with lots of carbonation. It’s sugary sweet overall but still light on the palate and definitely not cloying.
This is a well-crafted brew from Kuhnhenn and, luckily, no trace of infection or oxidation at all. A sweet take on a grand cru.
