(Draught) Pours a clear golden amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of tangerine, banana, clove, pepper, and orange. Flavor of grass, clove, banana, citrus, pear, and pepper. BigBeer45 (1553) - Michigan, USA - AUG 10, 2009
Bottle from brewery, pours a hazy gold with orange and burnt orange hues, white bubbles make a ring and a few sparse bubbles that hardly make a cover, medium effervescence, aromas of yeast, light fruits – orange and lemon citrus, malt bread, light spices, the aroma reminds me of a Witbier and the Bell’s 8000, some honey sweetness to, flavors of light fruits – orange, white raisin along with fruit sweetness and lemon citrus, pale malt, pepper and lemon citrus prick at the finish, I sensed a little alcohol in the taste but nothing to distract from the enjoyment of the drink, mouth feel is light on palate for a Belgian Strong Ale, a nice drink, lots of light fruit influences for a BSA. On-tap at the brewpub.Opaque yellow with some bubbly white head. Yeasty aroma, and yeasty taste. Natural carbonation, right there. Also known as the "Duvel in Ms. Jones" Middling mouthfeel. Blaze312 (132) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2009
12 oz bottle, picked it up at the 10th anniversary party. pours a very cloudy orange color. Smells of spice and maybe a hint of fruit. Taste is sweet with a slight tart to it. The spice also comes through pretty strong, slight malt/hops. It’s a pretty decent beer, but the price would probably discourage me from getting it again as it isn’t amazing. mattmc1973 (479) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - AUG 2, 2009
On tap at Kuhnhenn’s 10th anniversary party. Color was yellow/amber with slight white head. Aroma was moderately malty, with light bread and doughy yeast. Also some light lemony hops. Taste moderately sweet and lightly bitter, with sweet malt and fruits. Light to medium mouthfeel, with soft carbonation and dry finish. Pretty good!

Had at the winter solstice last year. Aroma was a little spicy and had some belgian yeast to it. Flavor was a light cardboard flavor to it. Not very carbonated really. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - MAR 1, 2008
Hazy light amber body with a tiny white head. The nose is lightly sweet with banana, herbs and slightly medicinal. The flavor is lightly sweet with grassy/herbal hops, banana, clove and cotton candy. Medium/full body is round with a slightly warm and astringent finish. tomaroth (31) - Troy, Michigan, USA - JAN 20, 2008
I like the Cru. It is a different, but has the sweet fruit and candy flavors. Drink it at Kuhnhenn’s. Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - JAN 14, 2008
On tap at Kuhnhenn. Yellow gold with a thin but sturdy head. Pretty much sweet bubblegum in the nose. Flavor is a bit artificial and too candy like. Big abv is right in yer face. dsm (109) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 2, 2008
Draft at Ashley’s in Ann Arbor. Pours light brown. The aroma is of fruit and candy. The taste is vanilla, grapefruit, and clementine. It is very smooth, sweet, and good.
