On tap. Aroma is spicy with dried fruits and banana, Belgium candi, crystal, and yeast. Deep Gold/Red hue with an off-white head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Flavor is big and Belgium. Fruits, spice, and yeast. Very good. Soft carbonation and medium to full bodied. A fantastic brew. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 21, 2010

GABF 2009 backlog. Pours golden amber with a white head. Nice aroma of Belgian esters. Nicely balanced flavors of clove, white pepper, pale belgian malts. Yeasty finish and alcohol well hidden. flatmatt (1576) - Northville, Michigan, USA - SEP 11, 2009
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazed amber with a small white head. Aroma has sweet caramel, cloves, green apple, and bubblegum. Flavor is a nice mix of cloves, caramel, bubblegum, and apple. A touch of salt, too, and a little alcohol tingle. Pretty darn enjoyable. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle from badbeer. Thanks! Poured a hazy light orange color with an off white head. Some lace was left behind on the glass at the end. Pleasant fruity aroma with distinct melon and apricot accented by pear and baking spices. Smelled great. Medium bodied with carbonation on the higher end of the spectrum. Sweet and prickly on the tongue with a warming alcohol effect. I tasted melon, orange liqueur, clove, and ginger. A bit of harsh alcohol came out at the end, but I liked this quite a bit.

Pours a slightly hazy, red-tinged amber with a full, billowy white head. Maintains a small head for a while before settling down to a nice amount of fine-bubbled, thick lacing. Nose is subdued with a half-finger of foam at the top, hinting at bananas, clove, yeast and other spices. Very nice combination of smells. Very lively carbonation, not a lot of sweetness, a good amount of light malt and wheat character with a slight bitter note on the finish. A crisp, sharp finish with a good amount of fruit flavor and spice. Warming on the finish, more so than I’d expect from a Kuhnhenn beer under 12% abv. All in all not bad, but not the kind of quality I expect from these guys. dsm (109) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 2, 2008
Draft at Ashley’s in Ann Arbor. Pours light brown. The aroma is of fruit and candy. The taste is vanilla, grapefruit, and clementine. It is very smooth, sweet, and good. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 30, 2009
12oz bottle courtesy of hoppymeal. Pours cloudy, burnt orange with a thin ring of offwhite head. Smells sweet and spicy malty with clove and nutmeg and other spices I don’t know. Bread and yeast as well. Tastes spicy and sweet malty as well. Complex. I don’t know all the spices. Warms as it hits the throat. Very nice, syrupy body, good carbonation. barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2009
