12oz bottle from the meadery. Pours a clear, still faint straw color. Aroma is heavy of green apple and faint honey. Taste is sweet green apple, accentuated by the Riesling...creeps toward jolly rancher sweetness. Medium light body. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2014
Nip sized bottle. Poured a yellow color with no head. Green apples ... jolly rancher candy. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - DEC 23, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2013 Tap: very pale, pear & straw colored body with a mild haze & basically no head on top, or any sign of carbonation at all. Aroma is green apple candy with some lighter notes of honey & residual sugar. Mostly sweet, lightly tart. It tastes sort of like liquid green apple Jolly Ranchers, too. Light honey & sugar notes make for a sweet drink with a touch of tartness from the apple character. Can’t believe this is 12% ABV. Pretty tasty stuff. At chopkofest pours normal mead yellow hue. Green apple jolly rancher in nose and mouth mixed with some booze burn.

Bottle brought back by my brother. Clear yellow to gold pour with no head and minimal legs. Aroma of apple and sweet white wine. Honey and apple flavor with a sweet white wine finish. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2013
2012 bottle. This Mead is a crystal clear very pale gold color with decent legs on the glass. Aroma of oak, white grapes and honey. Full-bodied and dry with a vinous character and notes of honey and tart apples. The finish is fruity with a lingering green apple aftertaste. Above average overall. The tiny 6oz bottle pours out with a clear body that seems to have a faint gold colored hue to it with a tiny thin stream of bubble ascending from the bottom to the surface. The aroma offers up sweet sugary slick honey like syrup covered apple skins and green apple wedges. The taste has a thin mouth feel thanks to the tiny level of carbonation where it creates some semi bright green apple and apple skin notes as well as smooth sweet honey. It seems to dry out a tad into the finish. daknole (11044) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Yellow gold pour. Aroma is sweet green jolly ranchers or koolaid. Flavor is much the same with some apple grape honey goodness.
