Tap at Kuhnhenn. Pale amber pour. The nose is really fruity with a soft tropical citrus character. A nice citrus/amarillo quality. Fresh and fruity. Quite hoppy with a kiss of light bitterness on the back. A touch of wheaty spice as well. Pretty solid hoppy ale. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 6, 2010
tap at Kuhnhenn - hazy orange pour i don’t tasty much wheat in here but caramel and toffee malts. Dry, piney hops. nice mouthfeel, carbony tingle but not overdone. Amarillo hops. Refreshing but difficult to define. hopscotch (11050) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2010
Draft… RBSG 2010… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is so restrained that it takes a deep, deep pull to get anything out of it. Once I do, I get nothing but pink bubblegum… remarkable. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Well-balanced flavor up front – no fruity or bubblegum sweetness. Medium to weighty bitterness kicks in on the backside and carries on through the lengthy finish. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 21, 2010
Tap at the brewery. Wheaty, American breakfast aroma, with some cereal grains, light hop. Minerally body, slight bitterness, and a German hop finish. Pretty easy drinking, though not too reminiscent of Gumballhead.
