On draft at the Ginger Man. Pours a clear orange rosy color with a medium light pinkish ? white head. Aroma of sweet and sour cherries and Maraschino cherries. Taste of sweet, sour and Maraschino cherries. Tart, yet sweet. Very nice. Slipstream (2661) - USA - JAN 25, 2010
Wow, I’m only the second one to rate this - and the first rater is a friend of mine! Now this beer, which popped up on the draft list at The Ginger Man, totally turned me on. Floral cherry aroma. Ruddy colored pour. Tastes great, like a sweet and sour compote made with strawberries, apple cider, and cherries. It reminds me of some of the fruit krieks I have tried from Selin’s Grove, thanks to Adrian. I really liked this one a lot - hats off to Kuhnhenn! #1!!!! On draft at The Ginger Man. Pours a murky Reddish caramel colour. Forgive my desription of the beer’s appearance, it was dark at The Ginger Man. It looks a little like cider. It has a frothy, light pink/white head. aroma of maraschino cherries, a hint of cinnamon, and fruit punch. Flavour is reminiscent of Selins Grove Kriek but less tart. Flavour of a variation of tart cherries and not much else. Maybe the other beer connoiseurs can help me out with the flavour.
