On tap at Kuhnhenn’s Brew Pub. Poured a yellow color with a small sized head. Bananas and cloves/spiciness were there, but somewhat on the muted and watery side.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, dough into a bit of yeast, slight clove, banana into a bit of white fruit. Taste was a mix of bread, dough, yeast into some clove, touch of white fruit finishing slightly sweet.

Draught at the Kuhnhenn Brewing Co, Warren, MI. Hazy yellow color with a small white head. Yeast, wheat, bubblegum, toffee and some bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is yeast, wheat, lemon and some dry tartness. Low carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Have had this at many places, sometimes labeled "Kuhnhenn Hefeweizen", other times as "Kuhnieweizen", & even a few times as "Kuhnhenn Hefe" & I’m just assuming it’s the same beer. Review based on first sample ever at the brewery. Super hazy straw-yellow body; crazy unfiltered with a huge, chunky, puffy white head that lasts for days leaving nice lacing behind. Nice. Aromas of clove, fruity esters, faint spice, old banana, & a heavy dose of pink, sugary bubblegum. Taste reminds me of banana flavored salt-water taffy, laced with shavings of mint leaves & ground cloves. Tons of yeasty flavor with a huge Bazooka Joe bubblegum finish. Blanket of soft wheat & semi-spicy Belgian yeast coats the palate in the aftertaste. Would prefer a slightly heftier & chewier body, but it’s still not bad. Overall, pretty enjoyable American made hefeweizen.

Draft pour at the source. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head of foam. Good retention. Aroma has banana, clove, and citrus. Taste is moderately sweet and a little spicy. Lighter body. Medium carbonation.

Andy thinks too much banana like a wheat and is very banana not a Julie beer so she gives it a 1. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the brewpub...a banana cream pie in a beer glass! A fun and super creamy Hefe that makes you feel good about drinking it.

On tap at Pete’s Place. Pours a cloudy dark yellow color. A slight white creamy head. Not much aroma. A slight clove in the nose. A nice carbonation that meets a nice candied banana flavor. Nice and refreshing. Pretty good stuff. A creamy feel overall.

Draft - Banana, wheat and clove. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Creamy wheat and banana with a clove finish. Classic style.

czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 25, 2014
on tap on the premises. murky pale yellow grey-ish pour with a small creamy white cap showing minimal retention and lacing. banana explosion, strong phenolic presence - too much i must say, grass, sulfur, doughy malts - slightly sugary, faint wheaty notes. average carbonation, light body - oily, almost sticky, short grassy-spicy-peppery finish. alright..
