Great kuhnhenn offering. Poured from growler into a tulip. Dark pour with tan head. Smells a coffee shop and bakery. Drinks surprising light. Seems dry, taste like a frothy cup of coffee with a little bittering aftertaste. Great imp stout, maybe wish it was a little more body.

Decent massive stout, heavy on the coffee and vanilla notes but with a sunscreen undertone that kinda gives the whole pint a cloy artificial note. Roasty malts mix with chocolate and marshmallow, and the impressively bitter finish keeps the sweetness from growing overbearing, but the fade has a strange industrial-made bottled creme brûlée flavor I just can’t dig. Great texture, pretty pour, but not my favorite.

Dark brown pour, thin white head. Aroma is a sweet malted creme brulee, as expected. Flavor is a Mix of creme brulee and coffee, and it is not a good mix.

Tap at the source, Warren. Pours black, tan head. Aroma is lots of sweet vanilla, caramel, creme brulee sweetness, coffee. That’s really nice. Flavor is coffee, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, creme brulee, cream. Nice. Coffee has more prominence in the flavor than nose. I like that one.
