On tap at the 2011 Kuhnhenn Winter Solstice. Pours a rusty orange with a yellowish brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has sweet grains with a bit of dry fruit and dry yeast backing. Flavor begins sweet with grains and fruits, but finish is dry with a hint of tartness. Sammy (12623) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 24, 2011
On tap at the brewpub, the second day of the Solstice. Brown coloured, no aroma Some sourness, yeast, lacy. Not hitting the style, not that drinkable. A style I normally like more than others. amg800 (237) - Ada, Michigan, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Orange yellow hue with thin white head.
Very herbal aroma.
Bitter sweet palate again very herbal. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2011
draft at the release... I get the thought process on this but the execution just wasn’t there for me, didn’t taste bad but bland and boring that with so many other choices its easy to pass on this mabel (9245) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 13, 2011
[4114-20111113] Tap. Herbal sweet floral caramel aroma. Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Sweet spicy yeast and tangy citrus malt flavour. Medium-full body. Interesting spice notes cover up some of the alcohol. (7/3~/7-/3/14) 3.4

2011-11-13. Lightly hazy golden amber body with a small creamy beige head. 3+ Pleasant flavour, malty core has mild toasty accents, pale malt sweetness, kiss of caramel, pleasant spice overtones and mild yeasty influence is nice. 7+ Modest aroma, lightly floraly, fruity, mild spice as in the flavour, and a touch of rye like grains? 7+ Smooth average plus bodied palate. On tap at Kuhnhenn, Warren
