Bottle. Nice dark pour with a smaller head. Rich dark fruit to this. Damn near a sour. Very delicious. Tmoney99 (14839) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 9, 2011
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured dark brown color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted dark fruit and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted dark fruit sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded almost a standout.

Dark Amber pour with a thin off white head. Aroma is resinous, tropical fruit and strawberry. Bitter while being balanced. Lots of tropical fruit, pine and grapefruit. Little yeast kenwall17 (232) - new york, New York, USA - AUG 3, 2011
All my favorite stuff rolled into one great brew: Roasted malt- hops - DIPA - high alcohol content (for the fun of it). Very drinkable. madmitch76 (25286) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2012

Opaque black beer, small tan head. Milky malt and a little sourness on the nose. Light palate, mild carbonation, slightly dry. Sweet and light dark malt. Aniseed, coca cola and a little chocolate. Some yeast. All joins up seamlessly in to quite a unique beer. Tasty dark treat!
Tap @ rnh. Black color. Taste is sweet and hoppy. Almost liporter. But not as heavy. Awesome. jtclockwork (17070) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Bottle thanks to FlandersNed! Pours black. Tan head. Nose/taste of black licorice, hops, black malt and cocoa. Creamy mouth feel. Slightly chalky finish. Medium body. Solid. Ratman197 (15204) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering brown head. Aromas of molasses, preune, toffee, earthiness and sherry. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth with a warming finish. Flavors of toffee, earthiness, prune, sherry and tobacco with a smooth warming lingering tobacco finish. JoeMcPhee (9515) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2012
Deep brown pour with a fast-fading head. The aroma is sort of sweet and spicy. A sort of black licorice character and a touch of a minty character as well. A leathery sort of character as well. A little bit of soft character and some decent earthiness. Cocoa and some earthy bitterness. A lovely brew actually. A little bit of peppery ethanol up front but it fades quickly.

[4940-20121116] 355mL bottle. Light orange hops has a smoky soya sauce note in the aroma. Hazy, dark brown body with a quick foamy tan head. More floral malt and smoky soya and bitter burnt citrus peel in the flavour. Medium-full body. Bit of a surprise sneak-attack tastiness. (8/3/8/3/16) 3.8
