Sampled on draught @ Kuhnhenn Brewing Company in Warren, Michigan. Deep copper color. Beautiful malt aroma bursting with caramel and toffee, cinnamon apples and light fruit. Texture is creamy and extremely smooth, perfect for a Maibock. Flavor is heavenly, well extracted and loaded with luscious caramel, apple and toffee malt flavors. This was a very good, serious rendition. Dextolen (151) - Michigan, USA - JUN 16, 2005
Tap. Sweeet and fruity aroma. Not much of a head, mild carbonation. Reminded me of mulled cider in taste. Little bit of a kick in the end w/ alcohol. Not bad! merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - NOV 8, 2013

Overall, a pretty interesting taste as it starts out grainy then gets pretty sweet...interesting. Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - AUG 1, 2005
Tap; dark copper/amber color with decent white head. Nice caramel malt and toffee/molasses?, with lots of apple and peach. Has the belgian yeasty peach character to it. Initial flavor is all sweet caramel malt with the fruits coming through towards the finish. Usually not a fan of this style, but this is very well done.

Draft @ Brewpub: I generally like this style, and I thought this was pretty good. Copper-orange pour. Aroma of dried apple and toffee, with golden raisin. Flavor of resin, light dried fruits, and caramel malt. Overall pretty balanced and tasty. mmmkay (51) - - JUN 13, 2012
Love Maibocks and this was a good one. Nice aroma and good malty taste. At 8% this will catch up to you pretty fast. Buying a growler to take home.

On tap: Cloudy orange, looks like its got some nice carbonation, poured a small diminishing head. Aromas are sweet and malty, apples, dates, oranges, and lots of bananas. Flavor is sweet but not syrupy, bananas galore, the slightest of hops, bubblegum and some alcohol as i warms. Light and slightly lively mouthfeel, but in no way watery or thin. Sample at Kuhnhenn on 5/16/14. Hazy amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, graininess, caramel and some yeasty esters. Malty and caramelly flavor with lager yeast before an orangy finish.
