Old nip bottle received in trade. Fairly clear golden pour leaving some subtle legs on the glass with a swirl. Complex fairly pleasantly oxidised nose with woody floral honey, prominent mango, raisins, leather, PX sherry, citrus zest & alcohol. Sweet, tiny sour, fruity & slightly floral taste. Smooth, round, oily & viscous mouthfeel. Smooth round mango PX sherry finish. Fairly oxidised but in a pleasant PX sherry way. No cardboard. Light but intriguing honey character. Prominent mango with light citrus. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2014
Nip sized bottle. Poured a yellow color with no head. Yep, citrus and mango / fruitiness. smith4498 (3676) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 18, 2014
6 oz bottle from a trade with unclerudy. Pours clear pale yellow color with no head. Aromas of mango, pineapple, citrus and honey. Similar flavors with moderate sweetness. Medium body with no carbonation and a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Thanks Mike. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2013
6oz nip bottle from a trade from a ways back... Pours still with amostly transparent golden cidery hue throughout. Minor leggy traces after swirling... Smooth clean floral honey character, touch of pineapple but somewhat missing out. Mild and subtle white wine notes. Expecting a bigger fruit component ... Citrus, pineapple fruit notes pair alongside a mostly sweet honey backing. Nice clean combo of wine and honey. Somewhat crisp, medium bodied, smooth with a modicum of spicy booziness on the backend. burg326 (5613) - Florida, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Poured a yellow color from the bottle with aromas of citrus, oranges, lemons, light peach and some mangos thrown in. Flavors were sweet honey, a mixture of a citrus salad, and soft mango on the back end, a nice mead, and very drinkable for the abv.

Brought to Tom’s by Chris, thanks! Pours a still light yellow in color. Nose is fruity with some backing sweetness typical of Kuhnhenn mead. Flavor is pretty indiscernable fruit, but there is definitely soft fruit flavor there. There is sweetness as well. Moderate mouthfeel, light sweetness, somewhat dry, and a moderate finish. This was a bad review on my part, but this is a tasty mead and should definitely be sought out. madvike (3302) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Bottle shared by BenC...thanks Ben! - Pours light yellow with no carbonation. Nose is sugary honey, real mellow fruitiness, but I don’t get mango or citrus from it. Same taste--real sugary and fruity. Thin and slick with no carbonation. deyholla (12439) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a nice light citrus note with a good combination of sweet mango and honey. Flavor begins with some dry honey and citrus but becomes sweeter and adds a nice note of mango. biggsbowler (629) - Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA - SEP 14, 2012

Pours a nice still yellow. Wonderful citrus aromas. Orange and apricot. Hints of mango and peach to go with waxy honey. Flavors of mango and tangerine. Light peach and orange. White wine notes with a nice earthy waxy honey like finish. Wonderful.
