Hazy red - brown beer, good off white head. Palate is light and crisp. Lactose sweet malt, dry and minerally. Sourish cherry and a trace of banana ester. Dry minerally finish. It’s ok - need to warm up to pass muster otherwise it’s clunky.
12oz bottle, 2012. Thanks umich03jm. This bottle has something I’ve never seen before... 2 caps. A cap on top of the other cap. Was a bitch to open. Hazy brown / red color. Thin khaki head, kind of bubbly. Little lace. Kind of an awfully metallic smell. Wondering if the caps had to do with this. Bigger body, dry. Kind of light carbonation, but a bite to the texture. Oxidized? The cap seemed pretty damn tight. Likely just way too old. Unfortunate. Kind of a bitter taste over all. Sweet bite in the finish. On the bright side, alcohol not too noticeable with that major unpleasant flavor. I guess there is a ghostly hint of what the beer was supposed to taste like fresh, hints of wiezen yeast, some malty bock robustness noticeable, but mostly just a big awful flavorless bite. This is the first Kuhnhenn brew that I’ve had (of maybe 4 now) that wasn’t absurdly good. It was bound to happen eventually. For some reason, I made myself finish the whole thing, though. I guess I was kind of fascinated. Have to give it a point for that. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2012
12oz bottle, ugly grey label .. . pours a dirty mop brown plum .. medium foam .. . some prunes and soiled hay .. . not that enjoyable, a mild weizen but basically a mess

Bottle. Pours with little carbonation and is a caramel color. Aroma is strong with malt and barley. Taste is a little muted buy also nice. A solid offering from kuhnhenn's and a good bock.

12 oz bottle from lionsandbeer. Beer’s second rating. Nose is light banana, caramel, with hints of bubblegum and even a tiny trace of smoke.Murky light brown with a quarter inch beige head. Flavor is caramel, banana, hint of smoke, and a touch of spices in the finish. Decent weizenbock, I am always excited to find new ones.

Bottle to oversized snifter (thanks lionsandbeer). Looks alright; an opaque brown with next to no carbonation and thin lacing. Smells like a solid weizen bock; malty. Tastes okay; malty with an overly flat mouthfeel. Easy to drink for the abv (which is a result of the thinness and the flatness, but isn’t what I expected). Okay.
