(Growler) Pours a cloudy orange body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, blueberry, and pie crust. Flavor of blueberry jam, biscuit, brett, toasted grain, and some cherry. corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2011
Pours a dark murky orange/apricot color with golden orange hues and a half finger off white head that slowly fades into a thin ring. Minimal lacing left behind.
Funky aroma with lots of vinous dark fruit, especially blueberry, blackberry and currant. Dry earthy brett along with some barnyard, horsey funk.
Medium bodied that’s tart, funky and puckering without being acidic. Lots of earthy oak along with some vanilla and vinegary, acetic acid that lingers into a mouth-watering finish. Dry bretty funk along with lots if vinous dark fruit. The blueberries are prominent but there’s also currant, grape and other dark berries. Very good!

@RBSG shared by zdk?-pours no head and hazy amber color. Aroma is vanilla/blueberry, light malt. Taste is vanilla/blueberry, some spice hops, light malt/grain. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 8, 2011
On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Still pour, deep dank reddish brown. Nose is strongly acetic at first, but then revealing some fruit - reminds me of the effect I got from the first batch of the Uplands a few years ago. Body has a bit more life than the appearance promises, and this helps things out a bit as it prevents the beer from becoming one-dimensionally puckering. Hints of sweetness flirt with you as you taste it, like the wild blueberry is seeking a cobbler, but despite some malts and a trace of candy, it’s a straight blast of sour for the most. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 1, 2011

Huge thanks to whoever opened this at RBSG. Pours out a moderate amber color with a small lingering off white head. Aroma is of berries, funk, slight wheaty malt notes and light barnyard. Taste is very complex, some nice tart funky sour notes, blueberries, light other fruity notes with a finish similar to what I’d imagine an alcohol filled blueberry sour patch kid to taste like...if they made that....hummmmmm yespr (48915) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2011
