Light, fresh, apple-y aroma. Bearly a head, impressive clarity, the color of cherry wood. Tastes woody, apple-y tart, with citrus undertones, but not overly sour. Palate is juicy, crisp; the flavor (along with it’s lightly carbonated partner) dances on the tongue. Capa (3304) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Starts sweet and fruity with a noticeable sourness in the aroma. Has a solid sour bite with cherry, fruit, and sweet sugar. Finish is super dry with lasting sourness. Oh, so damn good. JK (6162) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2010
Where the Wild Beers Are, 2010. I enjoyed this very much. Aroma has sweet cherry pie filling. Intense cherry flavor, but it is sour and sweet. One of the better beers of the day. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Tap at Brett Fest. light red-tan, thin white ring for a head, tart cherry, beach and sand, lightly earthy. Flavor is sweeter, more fruity, more like a Cantillon sour than the blueberry. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 20, 2010
Tap at Spuyten Duyvil. Poured a hazy amber pink with a creamy white head leaving excellent lace all over the snifter. Cream, cherry pie, baked cherries, funky cheese in the nose. Taste is spicy, lactic, excellent long quenching body with a near salty finish. As it warms it gets more sweaty and funky and sheds cherry pie. Creamy body. Excellent.

A: Pours looks sort of like cloudy grapefruit juice with a small white head.
S: Aromas of tart cherry juice, light grain, and karo syrup.
T: Wonderful blend of sweet cherry and tart raspberry. More sweet than sour, but there is a nice light tartness which makes this one really tasty. Light vanilla, and rock candy round things out. Really tasty beer. Kinda girlie but I like it.
M: On the thinner side, light in body, but good. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 24, 2010
Bottle courtesy of markwise. Pours a hazy reddish color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of cherries, booze, overripe fruit, vinegar. Flavor is amazing -- cherries, booze, candy sugar, light vinegar, fruit, sour. Medium body with a boozy finish. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JAN 30, 2010
Draft @ Rattle’N’Hum. Pourrs like a dirty ho, red pour, white head. Wheat and slight cherry, tart and light sweet notes. Decent fruit beer. HOPSHUNTER (742) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 23, 2010
Bottle, many thanks to markwise for sharing. Poured a deep, hazy amber with an off white head. Nose is mostly caramel with fairly strong cherry notes and a touch of lacto. Body is a bit on the thin side with a velvety mouth feel and ample carbonation. The flavor starts with strong notes of caramel, as it warms, notes of tart cherry pits, light funk, and some vanilla become more apparent. Finishes smooth with a subtle sourness. Big thanks to markwise for sharing this sweet Kuhnhenn brew. Pours ruby red caramel with off white head. The aroma is beautiful with yummy swirls of sweet caramel candy, cherry hard candy as well as some raspberry sweet fruity goodness. The aroma is amazingly inviting. I must take a sip now. The taste is a pleasing mix of tart cherries and raspberries as well as sweet caramel candy yum. The body is a bit thin but doesn’t lack in robustness as it heads toward the fertile pastures of sweet rich berry goodness. It finishes very smooth.
