Cloudy brown beer, little tan head. Light dry palate. Sweet malt, somewhat Belgian Tripel like. Sweet coca cola with nuts and pepper. Dry finish. Nice take on the style.

Very dark ruby color, nice big creamy off-white head. Strong berry-like aroma (red- and blackberry). Full-bodied. Liquerish palate. Flavor is dominated by blackberry, then also some sweetish caramelly components and hints of yeast and herbal flavors. Alcoholic punch in the aftertaste. Quite a treat, like drinking cassis liquer.
Bottle shared by ryan. Pours hazy amber with tiny floaties. Medium sized creamy tan head. Aroma of big spicy notes including nutmeg, citrus peel and spruce along with bread and caramel notes. The taste is spice, caramel, bread, chocolate, candi sugar and cinnamon. Medium-full bodied. Just a tad bit overspiced but still a good beer. Bottle shared by ryan. Pours clear brown with a medium, fizzy light tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus malt, medium fruity esters, tropical fruits, light caramel and toast malt, light farmhouse yeast notes. Flavor is vinous and fruity esters, light spicy alcohol, dates, caramel and toast malt, light alcohol, some sour notes with a dry finish. Full body, medium warmth and carbonation.

Thanks to Rogueone for sharing a bottle. The beer is a deep brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark malt, fruit and yeast. Rich body with flavors of grainy malt, dark fruits and yeast. The finish is malty with a lightly spiced yeast aftertaste. 750ml bottle. Gusher alert - soaked my bar. June 2007 Vintage. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a medium sized off white head. Aromas of dark fruits, spices, and caramel. Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured a cloudy brown with a grayish brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of butterscotch with a sweet grain and slight underlying herb and spice note. Flavor was similar with sweet grains, butterscotch and toffee with a bit of an alcohol burn.
