3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Muddled, burnt sienna center with translucent, copper-amber edges; super foamy & chunky, long lasting beige head sits heavily on top. Aroma is a basket of fresh baked, toasted bread with some mildly soapy & lightly peppery, floral bittering hops hitting over the top. You can definitely smell the Chinook. Taste starts with some bready malt sweetness, just a little, with a touch of grain before that big Chinook bomb comes rushing in... White pepper, grass, earth, a touch of flowers, & a soapy, bitter, biting back-end. Crisp, fairly well attenuated. A good pale ale to showcase Chinook hops.
Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #62. Keg at the brewery, 3/12/16. Hazy copper, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of herbal, piney, minty hops, pale malt. The taste is herbal, piney, resin hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Sammy (12346) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2016

Sample at Kuhnhenn. Pours hazy gold color with big rocky head that leaves great lacing when it slowly fades. Aroma is mostly floral and herbal hops mixed with some citrus and grain. Taste brings in some sweet tea hop flavor to mix with the flowers, herbs, and pine. Touch of citrus in the finish but there’s a lingering sweet tea flavor that I don’t enjoy very much. Not bad but not my kinda pale ale. Clownoisseur (485) - Buchanan, Michigan, USA - MAR 13, 2014
On tap at Kuhnhenn. Pours a light and hazy gold with a one finger white head. Aromas of juicy hops. Pine, resin, fresh flowers and slight citrus hints. A moderate bitterness to this one initially, but some sweet pale malts even it out nicely. Earth, pine, sweet tea....a hint of cat piss (in a good way!). Nice and crisp in the finish with a lingering bitterness that carries a nice herbal flash as well.
