Big thanks owed to Normyk for this long time want. What a special little beer to just give away, essentially. Split with Ryan011235. Poured into two taster mini snifters. A- This little bottle is quite the spectacle. Little mini 6.3 fl oz clear bottle, dipped in a burgundy wax that matches the beer inside. The tiny presentation is an interesting contradiction to the huge beer thats inside. The bottle looked like it was going to turn out flat, but thankfully I am presented with a very small head. It fades down to a collar before disappearing completely. The thick, concentrated beer leaves a solid coating on the side of the glass. The color is a lovely, deep sanguine red. S- This aroma is in your face raspberry puree. Its very juicy and fresh. It calls forth images of raspberry preserves or a slice of raspberry pie. Although raspberries are the main characteristic here, it is possible to pick out a slight notion of the malts below. I can pick out a slight bit of rich chocolate. This is undoubtedly the most raspberry-strong aroma out there. T- As expected, raspberry preserves are right in your face. It starts sweet and juicy but moves into a more leafy, wild raspberry flavor. There is a suggestion of tartness with a some bitterness at the finish. A little bit of rich chocolate is blended with the raspberries. Naturally, alcohol doesnt let itself be forgotten but it doesnt crash the party either. Its big and spicy but not bigger than those delicious raspberries. M- Carbonation starts out kinda prickly. It does die down, especially with all the swirling Ive been doing. Once the carbonation has subsided a bit the sheer thickness of this beer can be fully appreciated. Its very syrupy and chewy. The juicy raspberries cling to every surface of the palate. D- Nursing my little pour is a test. I would have easily been able to drink more than this whole bottle.

Murky dark amber color with a bit of tan foam. Aroma has raspberries with brown sugar, caramel malt and toasted notes. Taste starts sweet and fruity with raspberry jam, sticky malt and sugar, slightly tart fruity finish. Medium, syrupy sticky body with low carbonation. The raspberry notes go very well with the sweet, malty flavors.

Bottle from Clint (starcross) -- thanks a ton, buddy! This is substantially harsher than I was expecting. The raspberry flavor and aroma is readily apparent, but its surprisingly medicinal, to the point of smelling and tasting artificial. The malt base is hot, giving off booze and intense caramel sweetness. I shared this with about 6 employees of a local brewery, and it was a struggle to finish it.

As one person in the group put it, "this tastes like a discontinued Yankee Candle that was NyQuil flavored."

Bardzo syropowe, trochę jak mid pitny/nalewka z malinami. Słodkie, kwaskowate, cudnie owocowe.

The foam just goes around the rim. Medium brown amber color. Very big sweet malty nose with burnt raisins, raspberries, brown sugar, brandy, Christmas cake. Very full body, tons of raspberries, chocolate, Christmas cake, very sticky malty mouth. Super low carbonation. Boozy but so delectable and rich. Lingering I had this last time in 2008 and it is just as good.

Pours mahogany, not much foam but well, thats not what you look for in this beer. Aroma is full of raspberry jam, pure, fresh raspberry jam that I would like to take and just speed on a freshly baked and still warm bread and drink some cold milk next to it. Sweet and sticky, dense and warming. Taste is also full on raspberry, sweet, jammy, body is still somewhat dry. Alcohol comes out in the finish, some alcohol bitterness there. More raspberries in the finish. Game on, RBs best Fruit Beer, I dig you!

Butelka, bottlesharing w Piwotece. Wow, co się tu dzieje! Full malin, syrop malinowy, mid. Smak bardzo słodki, stropowy, malinowy ale bardzo przyjemne. Gęste, gładkie, alkohol świetnie ukryty. Znakomite piwo, ciekawe podejście do tematu.
