UPDATED: APR 1, 2014 Tap: Cloudy, golden amber with a soapy and big bubbles head that shrinks to a swampy skin and thin ring within moments. Aroma is full of Belgian yeast with a sharp, perfume/floral note. Somewhat bready and toasty with a nice hit of peppery spice lingering in the finish. Phenolic and up front. The taste is quite peppery and spicy as well, with clumps of phenolic yeast, bread, floral tones, and a mild, mild apple-y ester note that hangs around for the aftertaste with a touch of earth. Finishing sweetness, light Candi sugar. Medium-thick bodied, carbonated well. walleye (1099) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - SEP 17, 2012
