Draft at The Oak Cafe. Pours a slightly cloudy red-brown color with a small head that fades normally. Aroma is spicy rye mixed with some citrus and biscuit malt. Taste is decent but boring. The spicy rye is nice but it tastes a tad watery and stale. Finish is bitter, dry citrus and rye spice lingers. Overall, ok, probably won’t drink this again. On tap at the brewpub...the most striking feature of this brew is its remarkably creamy mouth-feel. The spiciness of the rye and earthiness of the hops add nice complexity and a satisfying finish, polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draught. Aroma has notes of spicy rye, sticky caramel, and citrus hops. Medium amber hue with an average off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is medium to heavy sweet and bitter. Palate is full bodied and oily soft. Overall a sticky Rye brew that I really liked. Full bodied with spicy bold flavors. Good mouth feel.
