Draught at the Kuhnhenn Brewing Co, Warren, MI.
Cloudy golden color with a small white head.
Mild malty aroma.
The flavor is sweetness, berries, fruits, some yeast and malt. Sweet for a Saison.

12oz bottle. Poured a hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Yeast, some fruitiness, and a sourness. ColovianTrader (464) - - SEP 18, 2015
Soft white pepper. Mild funk. Light yeast and bread. Mild flavors but good and refreshing. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - SEP 2, 2015
Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Dense amber body, orange hints with a gray-white layer of foam on top. Gummy aroma, lots of Belgian yeast, damp hay, bubblegum, white pepper, a touch of spruce, small medicinal tones, a touch of caramel. Flavor is sweeter than expected for a saison. Burnt bread, hints of caramel, maybe even some toffee. Bubblegum, spruce, light mint, white pepper, & a bready Belgian yeast finish that lingers. Not bad, but doesn’t remind me of a saison.

Very mild for a saison. Not much yeasty, funk, or floral character. A bit more of a tea undertaste. Not bad, and easily drinkable. madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2013

Very hazy amber beer. Small white head. Strong caramel nose. Light crisp palate. Strong butterscotch and caramel. A trace of citrus hop. Finishes dry. Very odd. Way too much butterscotch - diacetyl? Or some weird yeast?
12oz bottle-shared by jtc-pours amber with an offwhite ring. Aroma is malty/barn. Taste is herbal, malty/barn, yeast. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - DEC 23, 2011
12oz bottle picked up at the brewpub. 2011 Summer Solstice. Pours a cloudy, orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy and fizzy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is fairly sweetly malted with some florals and a bit of a tart citrus and apple. Some bready caramels and a bit of a honey sweetness. Flavor is very sweet again with a more distinct, fruity tartness...and none of it seems to balance very well. Caramel and honey bread, tart apples and lemons, a bit of a coriander spice, and a yeasty twang. Finishes dry with a light, spicy bitterness and an odd mix of sweet malts and tart fruits. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a fizzy carbonation. Overall, another disappointing bottle from these guys. I loved the beers I had on tap at the brewpub, but these summer solstice bottles just aren’t very good. This isn’t absolutely terrible, but it’s not that good. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - SEP 28, 2011
12oz Bottle. Thanks for sharing, Sean. Aroma has an aged malt component. Flavors are kind of messy.
Some indiscriminate spice and wet cardboard. There’s even the
charaterisitc Kuhnhenn twang that’s oh so unfortunately
familiar. In some ways, this is like the trans-Atlantic notion
of Fantome, but without a pop. One-dimensional. There’s some
definite cooked corn in here. Really feels like sloppy brewing. Bad DMS problem, bad beer.
