COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An award winning homebrew from our very own Barry Mulso and Mike Spears, ramped up to a full-scale production batch, Kuhnhenn-style. Barry and Mike joined us for a brew day to craft this deliciously drinkable beer. True to style, the medium carbonation delivers mild earthy hop notes and a distinctly British, biscuity and honey-like malt character with a light mineral background from this amber-copper colored brew. In keeping with English tradition, this Extra Special Bitter exemplifies complexity through simplicity.

Petkus331 (389) - Redford, Michigan, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Strawberry and cranberry aroma with very slight tobacco. Appears slightly hazy, lots of lace, lacy foam. Very caramel semi sweet up front, followed by a very balancing semi bitter euro hop in the rear, very nice easy drinker. Palate is very light, would be great on the sailboat. Overall, nice light beer with slightly darker flavor, nice.

4 oz pour on cask at ChurchKey for the Kuhnhenn Comes To Washington event. Dark golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of light soap, citrus, light floral notes. Tastes of caramel, malt, citrus, floral notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Solid ESB.

Tap at Kuhnhenn. Hazy orange pour with a small head that fades to a nice ring and leaves great lacing. Aromas are biscuits and light toffee. Tastes grainy and earth with some bread and light toffee. Pretty boring. Not my favorite style.

Draft - Lots of grain and caramel. Clear copper with a decent white head. Caramel, grain and some light root. Decent.
