Pour is pale yellow with no head. Aroma of almonds, butter, citrus, honey, and spices. Flavor is similar with booze and honey hitting first followed by amaretto in the finish. Sammy (12099) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 24, 2014

12 oz bottle from 2013 March Meadness. Pours a clear light golden color, still. Big, nutty, cherry liqueour aroma. Taste is sweet honey mixed with cherry pits and almonds. Good flavor but a very thin body. Finish gives off a medicine feel like many cherry meads or beers do. Overall, a nice treat but I wouldn’t buy again. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - AUG 28, 2013
375, capped. Thanks, M! What a cool treat. Pours a crystal clear pale gold with no head, lace, or legs. Big sweet toasty almond nose...did I mention sweet? Intensely concentrated nuts and musty honey. Light watery body...strangely sticky and watery at the same time. Nut flavor is nice, honey flavor is background, and the wateriness takes the whole thing down a couple notches. Too bad.

Very pale yellow pour, nearly clear with just a yellow wisp. Nose is pure amaretto with maraschino cherry, very sweet and singular. Mouth is less in your face almond and cherry, of course fermented honey and a light orange peel. Pretty good. I don’t think this years’ meads have been quite as good as some from previous years. Bottle brought back from Kuhnhenn. Clear white in color with no head and minimal legs. Aroma of almond, honey, orange and cherry. Flavor starts with almond and turns to white wine and vanilla before a dry finish. JStax (6357) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 23, 2013
7 ounce bottle thanks to unclerudy. Thanks man! Pours a pale, still yellow. The aroma has huge almond and maraschino cherry character. Taste is more sweet maraschino. The taste is a little phenolic to start, but as it warms, the Mead really opens up and becomes a treat. Very good. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Bottle at the Colorado Mead Tasting ’12. Pour is golden yellow with no head and great legs. Big sweet vanilla aroma, almond syrup, amaretto cherries, Dr. Pepper, light wood, and fruit. Taste is sweet cherries, light vanilla, wood, nutty, and oak with a light alcoholic burn on the finish. Syrupy with feel with light carbonation. Pretty tasty stuff, and realy easy-to-drink. arminjewell (9585) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Pour out of 8 oz bottle, thanks to Stephen! Aroma brought notes of sugary almond, vanilla, hints of honey, hints of sugar, wow! Taste is nice and dry, nice vanilla, sweet almond notes, hints of earth, finishing with some nice honey notes. Tasty stuff.
