PhillyCraft (7585) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2014
2010 6 oz nip bottle courtesy of Steve. Thanks for the vintage Kuhn yo. Pours green tinted yellow(I think) with no head and lace. The smell of this mead is the same as the scent you would get touching some spearmint as it was growing. Really true nose to this honey wine. Flavor is honey florals, Wrigley spearmint, and earth. Good stuff.

blipp (9502) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 12, 2013
Bottle shared by Max. Pours clear light gold. Holy shit this is an oddball. Minty nose with just a touch of sweetness. The flavor is like a piece of sweetmint chewing gum, with honey, and the faintest hint of spice. Weird.

podey (638) - New York, New York, USA - APR 5, 2013
Bottle shared at tasting with RB crew. Really interesting. Pours hazy gold without any head. Aroma is really sweet, with notes of grass, flowers honey and spearmint. Taste is honey and sweet mint. Mouthfeel is smooth and slightly thick. Really different and interesting.

jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - APR 3, 2013
Bottle with dads, bros, and girls. Pours a ligh hazy yellow body with no head or lacing. Aroma is sweet floral mixture, honey and burnt plastic. Mouthfeel is smooth and thick with notes of sweet, sweet floral honey. The burnt plastic doesn’t come through at all in the flavor which is for the best. Another solid mead from The Kuhn.

j12601 (12976) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Bottle at James’ mead tasting. Pours a clear light yellow gold. Smells initially of mint, moving from the definite extract that you’d think of for chewing gum to a very light hint of fresh picked mint from the garden, and light honey syrup notes. Honey at first, sweet and sticky, moving very slowly to a light amount of mint, not overpowering like the nose might suggest. Very subtle finish.

jtclockwork (16857) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Bottle thanks to FlandersNed. Pours clear gold. Nose of double mint gum and honey. Taste is mostly honey with mint leaves. Soft finish. Medium body.

10/16/10 pale yellow with a slight green tinge. it smells like steeped beaten up mint leaves!.. honey, green tea and lemon fill out the rest of the aroma. it tastes the same... mint tea with honey and lemon added. it is not sweet but not completely dry. 7/4/7/4/16

BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Really interesting...shared by Sparky. Tons of minty goodness...including a handful of mint leaves, some mint twigs, lots of stems...this is truly the whole plant! Bright with honey undertones. Not bad.

Dfonorow (2250) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 24, 2011
Pour is translucent golden, no legs or carbonation at all. Aroma is of orbitz gum with just a faint touch of honey sweetness. Flavor is of sweet honey with a spicy spearmint throughout. Alcohol is decently covered. Very interesting.
