Tiny bottle shared by alexsdad06 (thanks, Brad!) that inexplicably says "64 oz." as the size. Whatever. Pours a clear pale gold with no head. Smells and tastes like bananas foster. Banana, vanilla, brown sugar, creme brulee, candied nuts, and a dash of cinnamon. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a boozy, sweet mouthfeel. Tasty mead. Little 8.5oz bottle, with a label that looks like it was printed off from a computer printer. Thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Generic label, with "Vanilla Gorilla Billy" written on it with what looks like blue pen. Kind of comically, the label says 64oz. Damn big vanilla in the nose for sure, but also some ginger... Nice floral, some apricot and peach type citrus, big creme. Tons of vanilla. Nilla wafer. Hmmm, tasty!!! Bigger sweet taste, but not cloying. Impressively little heat. Pale orange color. Clear. No head. Medium to bigger body. Not as thick as expected, especially for the ABV. Lightly slick. Not really any noticeable carbonation. Overall, damn, the flavor is just awesome. Big nillae wafer, some ginger. Very nice overall hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2014
Nip sized bottle. Poured a golden color with no head. I love vanilla - this one did not disappoint. Mmmm, vanilla with some fruitiness, but y, this one was all about vanilla / vanilla beans. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2014
Pours clear yellow with no head. The nose is vanilla, cinnamon and honey. The taste is vanilla, caramel, honey and light booze. Medium oily mouthfeel. Tasty. 4.1 48FanInCali (851) - California, USA - MAR 17, 2014
2012 bottle - Very similar to BA version. Dark gold pour. Nose mostly of vanilla and honey. Taste follows the nose. Pretty one sided but a great desert wine with lots of sweetness.

3 oz pour at 2013 Winter Solstice. Pours a clear light yellow color, still. Aroma is potent, strong vanilla with honey and a touch of alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet and is dominated by vanilla. Somewhat boozy finish with a slight alcohol burn. Pretty good stuff but just too much vanilla for me to enjoy more than a 3 oz pour. crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Pretty one-dimensional. Its sweet, watery and it has vanilla. No complexity whatsoever. alexsdad06 (10639) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Nip bottle. Pours a crystal clear light yellow color with zero head. The aroma has honey, vanilla, sweet fruits and some alcohol. The flavor is sweet honey, vanilla, some citrus and additional fruits with some alcohol. Very smooth and meant to be sipped. Kristophe (29) - SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2013
Sample at home. Pours clear light gold with no head. Aroma are very sweet with lots and lots of vanilla, rum, coconut and some floral notes. Mouthfeel is smooth and taste is also very sweet. Huge amounts of vanilla, but also some chemical notes along with flowers. Warming finish. Awesome mead! mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 4, 2013
Small bottle, sent from St. Fun (thanks a lot, Josh), pours a hazy light golden with no head. Aroma of honey, bourbon, and loads of vanilla - very rich and bourbony and honey. Flavour brings out loads of vanilla above anything, along with honey and bourbon. Never had something so monolithically vanilla. Alcohol is very present, with a lingering finish of vanilla and bourbon. Excellent mead.
