This poured a light brown to red with an off white cover. Aroma was of dark fruits, light roast, and caramel malt. Flavor similar, alky hidden well, but not much depth for a weizenbock. rumproasts (6035) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 26, 2015
Tap. Deep hazy brown with small head. Not a prototypical weizenbock. Malt with some fruitiness. Not much banana or clove.still pretty decent. alliance100 (1171) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 31, 2015
Draft at Kuhnhenn - pours a amberish brown with a thick tan head . Tons of lacing (nice !) definite banana note , hints of smoke and caramel . Very nicely done .

Aroma of walking into a house where banana bread has been baking. Hazy light brown appearance, white ring of foam. Tastes of bitter roast malt and gentle sweet banana bread. Palate is nice, fizzy, light. Overall, like banana bread. firstsip (752) - Michigan, USA - JAN 24, 2015
Tap. Opaque dark copper brown. Nice lacing and head. Very banana bread smell. Smooth. Tastes of banana bread, slight bit of crisp citrus.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2015 Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Muddy, murky brown with a gray, bubbly foam on top. Aroma of heavy bubblegum, toast, Belgian spice, bready yeast, banana, & moderate clove. Flavor follows through with the heavy Belgian spices. Clove. banana eaters, toasted bread, a touch of phenols, prune, bubblegum, faint orange zest, & a hint of alcohol. Medium bodied. Not bad. This is one odd beer but you know what? its pretty good. A lightly tart weizen bock with nice sweet body and a dry spicy finish. Pleasent and enjoyable. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Thanks to mike m, I really like this one. Good strong banana and clove flavors, sweet and decent. mcberko (18979) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 5, 2012
12 oz. bottle, sent from northernbrews (thanks a lot, Jeff), pours an opaque dark mahogany with minimal beige head and lots of sediment. Aroma is full of banana and clove, typical of a weizen bock, mixed with some very nice spiced dark fruits. Flavour is unusually tart for a weizen bock -- none of this coming through on the nose -- there is a bit of the clove and banana as noticeable on the nose, but the weird light tartness seems to characterize this one. Given that tartness isn’t something I see described in most of the other views, I wonder if there is something wrong with this (wouldn’t surprise me given Kuhnhenn’s QC). It’s not grossly offensive, but it’s not enjoyable either. Got to be something wrong with this. DietPepsican (1589) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Pretty dark amber pour with a big off white head. Kind of like taking the last bite out of a red tootsie pop for the flavors here. Some bacon umami notes and a kick of sourness. So odd, so kuhnhenn. Fun.
