UPDATED: NOV 21, 2014 Tap: Cloudy, nearly opaque golden color with a soapy white head that reduces to a lasting collar. Aroma contains light white pepper spice, orange peel, citrus zest, mild wheat, some bubblegum, yeasty esters, faint dirt, & a touch of phenol. Taste hides the ABV well. Mild banana flavor with heavier orange & citrus peel in the end. Estery & yeasty, full of spices from front to back. White pepper, maybe coriander? Touch of saltiness in the finish. Like halfway between a Belgian pale & a Belgian strong.
From notes. On draft at an “unofficial” company outing to the Clinton Township Taproom on August 08. The pour is a cloudier golden yellow with a thick white head that froths down slowly, leaving a lot of soapy lace behind on the glass. The aroma is really interesting. Lots of malts, banana, a heavy wheat, and light citrus. There is a grassiness and a strong wheat that comes through with a touch of clove and a bit of maybe coriander? The flavor is just as interesting. I don’t like it. The clove and banana are huge and the wheat just takes a back seat. The breadiness kind of finishes with a little lemongrass twist thing that I can’t read. The mouth feel is thicker and softly carbonated, which lets the coriander and clove just cling to my mouth. Pour on tap at the brewery, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, hints of yeast into some wheat, coriander, clove, lemon and white fruits. Clear straw yellow in color... aroma of citrus, coriander, wheat malts, banana... Flavor is crisp and citrusy, lots of bananas, spices on finish... Delicious

Tap at the source, Warren. Pours pale yellow, white head. Aroma is lots of wheat, clove, coriander, lemon, small bit of Belgian esters. Really nice and refreshing. Flavor is lemon, wheat, coriander, some clove. But that coriander and lemon predominate. Really nice. Like a heavy witbier with some extra Belgian strong ale qualities. I like it. (Blue Session). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some wood, toffee and mild yeasty notes. Flavour is fruity, nectary, wooden and some slight wheat and a bit spicy notes as well.

, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Fruity and malty aroma and taste, some zesty lemon citric notes, medium sweet, yeasty, light spices into the finish.

Cloudy goldenrod with some brass tints and a medium-sized white head that slowly fades to cover.
Lots of orange rind, white pepper and a big fruity peach character. Honey, sourdough bread and a moderate amount of clean alcohol, heat things up somewhat. Seems quite attenuated from the nose and the alcohol and bready/grainy notes from the malt are a bit overexposed, it seems. The ester/phenol profile, otherwise, is pretty passable, with no cotton candy or heavy banana.
The texture is slick with a bit of syrup/alcohol and moderate carbonation that is mostly tight. Some bitter notes, grainy/bready malt at times (light) ending with a touch of alcohol heat/dryness. A bit heavy-handed with the dry phenols, bready malts and alcohol.
