Porkbelly (3) - Tannersville, New York, USA - FEB 14, 2016 does not count
A- golden haze with light lacing
S- very strong wheat/yeast smell
T- wheat pale ale with strong flavors.
M- has good body, but doesn’t appear to be a American pale ale
O- definitely a different pale ale, but I enjoy the different flavors this pale ale has to offer! tfontana (1041) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Bottle from Signal Variety, Plaistow NH. Aroma is caramel malt and yeast--seems a bit unfinished like it is still in its wert phase. Appearance is vile. Within the first 1/3 pour you get a bunch of dark sediment and the last 1/4 pour spews copious amounts of chunks of dark particles. Felt the need to strain it. Is this Maca Root? Don’t know but don’t think this style should have a bunch of sediment, regardless. Color is cloudy orange brown (like apple cider). Taste is not good. Slightly sweet caramel malts but something basically just tastes off. Palate is medium bodied with flat carbonation and unfortunately long bitter finish. Got a deal on this beer so perhaps it went over but looked on the bottle and the six-pack container and couldn’t find any born-on date. Wouldn’t touch again but would allow for the fact that it might be past its time. BLADT (700) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUL 26, 2014
Amber color with khaki head. Orange-lime nose, with pale malts. Mild. Taste is similar, with an added earthiness. Needs rounding. Not memorable. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - FEB 22, 2014
(bottle) An average American Pale Ale with the addtional strange/unique flavor of Maca Root added. I’m not sure why we needed this but it brings an earthyness to it. Not bad but one is enough. deyholla (11908) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Bottle thanks to Blipp. Pours a near clear deep reddish amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet but earthy grains, a nuttiness a bit of grassy hops and straw. Flavor begins with same musty sweet grains and nuttiness that grows to have a bit of grassy note and a hint of bitter citrus in the finish.

Tap at Draught 55. Pours kinda ugly brownish orange. Not a ton on the nose just light hops. Tastes hoppy,of orange peel, earthy, caramel, and toast. Bitter and a touch sticky on palate but overall tasty. ben4321 (6607) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 2, 2013

Aroma: The nose has caramel, some pine, citrus notes, and a little butter as well
Appearance: It pours a clear amber-orange color with a beige head and some drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is a little sweet with some light-medium bitterness, and some off/buttery notes
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay mouthfeel, soft carbonation, and a mild dryness
First off, I feel like I may have had this previously at TapNY, but I can’t recall. Secondly, I wasn’t too impressed here. This APA has too many flaws for me to give it a better score than this.
