sample at mondial de la bière 2016, mtl. hazy golden pour with a small reviving eggshell white head offering some retention and lacing. good amount of fruitiness - doughy yellow fruits, very fruity and lightly spicy yeast, some sweetness - floral honey; cloves and other spices. moderately low carbonation, medium body - quite oily; semi-sweet honey-spicy finish. nothing crisp here but a decently crafted american-belgian strong golden trapped (3614) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 18, 2014
Draught. Hazy golden yellow with creamy off-white head, honey aroma. Fizzy, honey taste that ends with a bitter finish, alcohol aftertaste and burning sense in throat. Strong brew. AirForceHops (7813) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 1, 2014
650 ml bottle from Cigarette City for $9.99. Golden color with a light orange hue with slowly dissipating head. No lacing to speak of. The aroma is fruity Belgian yeast with an herbal tone. Tonkun (1306) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 2, 2014
The flavor starts sweet with the yeast being predominate in the body. Candy sugar sweetness. Chewy, full mouthfeel. I can find an herbal note toward the finish, I guess it is the agave although I never would have picked out agave. ABV at over 9 % it doesn’t show any harsh heat or alcohol in the flavor. Real clean and smooth finish, lingering fruity yeast. Overall simple but pretty good flavor.
Bottle at a tasting event. Spice, banana, caramel, bread, floral. A bit sweet. Light to medium body. Decent carbonation. Decent ben4321 (6739) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 11, 2013

Aroma: The nose is Belgian yeast, spice, fruit, some veggie notes, and caramel
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is mid-sweet, a somewhat Belgiany feel, yeast, and a little spice
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has average-to-lively carbonation, and decent feel
Thought this beer was solid overall, but no more than that. It drinks alright, and it has some flavor, but it certainly isn’t memorably good.
Tap at draught 55. Pours golden with white head and nose of tropical fruit. Tastes of vanilla, banana, agave, vegetal, light butter, some hops and rock candy. Slight alcoholic finish tgncc (3145) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAY 4, 2013
From ZDK’s tasting. The aroma is caramel, brown sugar, beets, cooked vegetables. The appearance is clear amber, white head. The flavor is very sweet, brown sugar, smoke. The finish is sweet, vegetable. Medium in body. Not bad. A lot going on in this beer. Maybe too much. j12601 (13112) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle that I took to a tasting at Matt’s place. Pours a clear golden orange with a thin white head. Sweet on the nose, definitely get the agave, but without looking for agave, I’d probably just go with ice cream and hints of herbal lemon. Sweet agave notes, candy and light bitterness. Tasty but nothing overly exciting. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle shared by Jay at Zach and Matt’s tasting. Pours clear orange with white head. Nose and taste of maca root, candied yam, sweet alcohol soaked fruit and agave nectar. Medium body. podey (638) - New York, New York, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle shared by Jay at Zach & Matt’s tasting. Pours golden yellow with small white head. Aroma and taste of sweet malt, hops and some starchy vegetal notes (maca root??). Fairly sweet on the palate with floral and fruit notes and a dry finish.
