Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

Grumbo (4296) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2017
Bottle from a shop in downtown Frankfurt. Pours golden with a small lasting just off-white head. Aroma of corn syrup, light caramel, maize, grass and hay. Quite sweet, very light on bitterness. Toward medium body, sticky texture, below average carbonation. Finish is sweet and sticky with a little more bitterness coming through. Not a bad pils but nothing special overall.

Maracuja05 (2064) - Mainz, Rineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2017
07-05-17 // 500ml from the can. Clear golden pilsener, typical mild grainy, hay malty body with a solid bitter finish. Quite nice.

BlackHaddock (7973) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2017
500ml bottle : BBD 28th Aug 17. Drank on 5th May 17 in my Cochem holiday accommodation. Decent looking beer, clear golden with a white crown that tried to hang around. Clean tasting with very little aroma, refreshing and not as sweet compared to other German beers on the night.

Schöner cremiger Schaum, Flaschenhals in Goldfolie. Durch die edle Aufmachung verspricht man sich eigentlich mehr, aber man kann es trinken!

ArtificialCyst (1406) - Szczecin, POLAND - APR 11, 2017
On tap at Kulmbacher Bier-haus in Verona. Grainy with some hoppy notes, glolden body with medium head. In taste quite crisp, bit sweet, no bitterness, grainy, ok.

vinivini (3148) - Gomel, BELARUS - MAR 31, 2017
Clear golden, lush fluffy head. Spicy noble hops reigns the nose. Additional dry malts. Light body. Crisp and dry taste. Well-hopped. Medium bitterness. Solid pilsner.

Interesting taste. Typical euro/German beer flavor. Could definitely use more alcohol.

Baramba (1038) - ITALY - DEC 3, 2016
Bottle. Clear yellow, white head. Sweet cereal and malt aroma and flavour, light bitterness

kermis (14999) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 26, 2016
Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light malt and light hops. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A decent crisp German pils. [05-09-2016]

tightslice (1530) - Redwood City, California, USA - SEP 7, 2016
Bottle from Gourmet Haus Staudt in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is malts, herbs, herbal bread. Taste is sweet and watery. The sweet / herbal vibe didn’t mix very well for me. No grassy notes to speak of.
