"Pilsener" isn’t my favorite style, but the good ones can still be pretty good. This is a good one. Pale yellow with bubbly carbonation and a more persistent head than I find usual for a pilsener. The foam, which starts out a two finger thickness, lasts at a paper-thin thickness pretty much till the end. Nice lacing. Nose is fairly potent of yeasts and fruity notes. Primary taste is tart and appely, with citrus undertones. Dry, rather hoppy finish. Drinks easy. RONCOD (253) - Uledi, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2008
Clear golden color with a thin white head. Slightly sweet with a dry citrus taste. Nice and refreshing. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2008
Light golden with an OK head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt and hay. The flavour has a nice, dry and slightly citrussy bitterness and a very light malty sweetness. It’s refreshing, quenching and pleasantly dry. gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2008
Found this one bottled at the World Market in St. Charles, Illinois. Crystal clear, light yellow pour with a thick, white head. Light nose of grassy hops. Clean, balanced palate. Weak finish. This is an absolutely typical pilsener in every respect. FLnative80 (174) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 25, 2008
Bottle. 11.2 fl. oz. Clear, pale, golden straw color with fine, white head. Clean aroma of grain and malt. Light bodied with a smooth palate and a dry finish. Crisp flavor is fairly bitter with a slightly sweet aftertaste. A refreshing beer without much else going for it.

Clear faint watery yellow color. Watery grassy, faint hop scent. Crisp, clean, light, watery, grass, very faint hop taste. Not much to enjoy, seems like some American Larger. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 29, 2008
On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Simple pilsner. Pours clear light gold. It is what it is & a decent pilsner. Slightly medicinal & herbal, light mouth feel, brings me back to my younger days when I thought Becks was good lovemyipas (544) - nw burbs, Illinois, USA - FEB 29, 2008
pours a clear yellow with a 11/2 finger fluffy white head. aroma is pilsner malt and some hops with a little lemon. has a light to medium body with ok lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but a little stronger. it has a small dry hop aftertaste but is a bit flay on the palate. all in all not bad of a pilsner. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain / cracker, husks), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with notes of DMS and metal.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Sadly the husks/metal/DMS notes bring this down; there are some nice things about it, but it’s a bit rough. Overall about average.
This beer pours a golden yellow with little to no head. The aroma is very typically skunky . The flavor is classic pilsner and I gotta say, I actually liiked this one. It was kinda dry with lots of good hoppy character! Cheers!
