Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

0.33 liter bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a dense white head. The aroma is clean and very neutral with perhaps a touch of malt. The flavor is extremely clean with a finish of dry hops. I do not notice any hop oils in the aroma or the taste which is normal for modern German pilseners. The original gravity of 11.3° Plato is quite low and this makes the mouthfeel a little thin. Such is the nature of modern German pilseners. This beer is ok, but way too expensive. The original gravity and the IBU´s need to be bumped up a bit.

33 cl bottle .Yellow colour wit medium head. Burnt rubber and rice/corn aroma. Malt, butter, metal and bit too sweet for a decent pils .Medium body and carbo with bitter finish.

Vom Fass. Courtesy of Jockl. Malty-hoppy aroma. Bitter-peppery taste. Goes down well with a Gänsebrust.

Weak grainy and malty aroma. Taste is quite bitter for the style, some buttery nuances are present in the finish. Medium and slightly dry body. Better than your average Pilsner, for sure.

Bottle: Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Just slightly skunky, light smoke, grain malt aroma. Creamy grain malt, pilsner malt flavour. Really nice.....soft and light...I could drink this everyday. Great Beer.

Can. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is yeasty and dry, and the flavour is fairly bitter with yeasty and dryness. Overall a reasonable pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden color with a medium soapy white head that dissipated rather quickly. The aroma is grainy, watery, and some sweet bready malts. The taste is rather sweet up front with some breadiness but there is a small hop kick on the back-end. The mouthfeel is on the medium to light side. Good beer!

One of my favorite pilsner. Light appearance, rich aroma and very good taste.
