COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 1, 2007
Pale golden/yellow color, quite quickly disappering white head. Malty, soapy aroma with some hops. Bready flavor, with some metallic notes after a while. Quite weak finish with a late bitterness.

harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2007
500ml bottle from Quaffs, Spitalfields Market. Pale gold with thick white head. Light lager aroma, bit of metallic pale malt. Very light in mouth, with a quickly disappearing flavour. Some metallic carbonated sting. Faint lemon. No off flavours, but just a lack of anything.

Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2009
Golden colour. Gentle carbonation. Substantial mossy, herbal hop aroma. Soft body with a somewhat toasty malt character. Only a little bit of grassy hop - the promised herbal dryness never materializes and the finish descends almost to doughiness.

TBone (17565) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 9, 2006
Bottled (BB 10/2006)
Pale golden color, lively carbonation, decent white creamy head. Metallic hoppy aroma. Sparkling carbonation dominates palate. Metallic, woody, Czech-type pils (without buttery flavors). Good malty background. Just slightly up from "German bulk lagers" -pils.

Dedollewaitor (16171) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2008
Tap @ Gasthof, Southern Germany. Clear pale yellow with a off white foam. Lots of fresh hay & grain. Clean, crisp & fresh. Fine pils!

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 30, 2008
500ml bottle (K market)
Looks like a bland lager, canonical scummy head. Soft dry malty aroma, a touch bland and lagery. However, it’s got a bigger taste than your average lager. It actually tastes like it is made of beer ingredients. Soft sweet maltiness, hints of a range of esters, and a pleasant bittering hop. Carbonation is healthy, and matches the softness of the body well. A touch crisper, and this would be an exceptional lager. Non-filtered would be great too.

Bottle. Golden colour, big white head. Sparkling. Quite malty flavour, a little sweet. Hint of aroma hops.

bhensonb (15218) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Light aroma of noble hop with some malt behind it. Golden color with a fluffy white head that sort of laced. Near medium in body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is noble hop over light malt. The bitter builds into the finish. It’s not exactly crisp. Fits the style, but not as sharp as Urquell. Definitely a decent pils.

DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 28, 2012
Bottle. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of herbal hops and some grainy and vegetal notes. Sweetish malt flavor, a bit bready, with a moderately bitter herbal hops finish. Light-medium-bodied. Not great, but kinda drinkable.

Borup (14548) - Albertslund, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2006
Bottle. Golden colour with a nice white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Flavour of hops, grain and malt with a bitter finish.
