COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

Bottle. Pours a very pale yellow with a greenish hue to it. A small 2 mm creamy white head settles for a little while before disappearing. Aroma has a lot of malts, a maize like feel and a slight touch of roses. Medium to low carbonation. Taste begins slightly peppery bitter, then expands a lot of malty sweetness - all served very dry. Quite usable Pils.

A touch of creamy head. Nice subtle bitterness to it. Smooth, with spice on tongue. Malty finish, went well with dinner. Light to Medium mouthfeel. Good carbonation

rosenbergh (11753) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2009 500 ml bottle. Finland. (HHOK). Clear golden colour with big white head. I was very surprised when I found milk chocolate aroma on a German Pilsener. Also a bit metallic and hoppy aroma. A bit harsh hoppy flavour with some metallic notes. Quite regular German Pils.

shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 24, 2004
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2006 Bottle - Creamy floral aroma. Clear yellow color with ample long-lasting head. Creamy malt flavor with a very interesting bitter hops finish with a hint of smokiness. A very interesting pils - the more I drink, the more the smokiness came out. A very unique pilsener.

faroeviking (11086) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 31, 2007
Bottle. Yellow with a nice big creamish well lasting white head. Aroma of hops and bit fruitiness. Flavour is fresh and bit crispy, some sweetness, good hoppiness with some maltiness. Dry bitter finish. A good tasting German Pilsener.

DocLock (10970) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 31, 2007
Bottle from Ron’s Schoolhouse, Exton. Pale gold pour with 2-finger whitish head. Aroma of pale malt, slight hopcitrus and honey. The flavor was pale malt, some light syrupy apricot, and mild hops and citrus. Not terribly exciting.

500ml can from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas of sweat, metal, light lemon, cooked corn. Taste is astringent, grim, industrial.

pivnizub (10763) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 15, 2010
Can (kindly delivered by joss!): Golden with a greenish sheen, a bit unclear; grassy hoppy nose with a delicate bisquity and pale-malty background; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; slightly lingering pale-malty and hoppy finish. Surprise, surprise: Quite a good brew from a macro-brewer.....
