COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The naturally-cloudy Mönchshof Kellar beer is the result of Mönchshof's centuries-long brewing tradition and of the love of traditional beer brewing. This amber color, mild beer appeals to lovers of unfiltered beer, the way it used to be. A tradional Mönchshof beer specialty.

Serving: from bottle purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: lightly floral hoppy. Appearance: average, rocky, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, medium-amber body. Taste: lightly citrusy initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: very good.

I drank this beer at Domodossola in the main square, terrace, enjoying the sun and our short life. In my opinion, this beer is for the style really good, I drink the kellerbier that they are usually basic but this one is enjoyable. The body is brown and orange, troubled, thin and white head, normal carbonation for the style. The taste is directly well balanced, nice and peaceful sensation in the mouth: malty, touch of oak, caramel well counterbalanced with the hop. It is better to drink it not so cold, to enjoy the aroma, next one please.

Coppery colour, not much paler than the Rhenania Alt that I sampled at the same time. Slightly hazy, with no head to speak of. Scant aroma. Subtle grassy hops, but with a clammy, sweaty undertone. On the palate there’s lashings of soft caramel malt, but also plenty of hops lending a gentle, but persistent bitterness

500 ml swing top. The beer is a clear copper color with a beige head of fluffy foam. The aroma is pine and resin. Taste is fairly bitter and earthy. Resinous and bitter in the finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Kind of a velvety mouthfeel.

Onkos hyvä saksalainen? On. Nämä saksalaiset 6% oluet on nykyään aika mukavia. Makuaisti ehkä kehittynyt niin, että miedompikin maistuu.

Piwo lekko metne w kolorze bursztynowym nalewa sieniezbyt obfita sredniopecherzykowa piana ktora szybko znika. W aromacie slody z odrobina karmelu i nut ziolowych.W smaku troche chlebowe z ziolowo-trawiasta goryczka na raczej niskim poziomie i wysyceniem na srednim poziomie. Zdecydowanie nie mam zamiaru powtorzyc tego piwa.

Bottle from Trinkgut somewhere in Germany. The beer is cloudy amber colored and has a small and unstable creamy head, with ok carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity, with notes of caramel, honey, yeast, dried fruits and a hint of spices. The taste is medium malty sweetness, with notes of bread, yeast and sweetness of fruits, caramel and honey. The finish is light bitter and dry and yet a little refreshing.

Bottle. Cloudy Amber in colour. Malty; sweet toasty (lightly roasted) malts, caramel, hint of toffee. Hoppy; grassy hops. Fruity; apples. Nice malt/hop balance. Sweet malty throughout with grassy hops. Dry in the finish. Very drinkable. (2010-02)
