Jonb5 (576) - Greater London, - NOV 19, 2012
Golden colour, clear, decent sized head which it held on to quite well. Aroma was Hallertau hop with strong notes of apple. Tasted a bit of clove with hints of banana, finish was grassy and malty, there was some hop bitterness but it wasn’t overdone. Crisp texture, fairly well carbonated, slightly coarse edge from the gas. Decent character for a German Pils, won’t blow anybody away but much better than the big brand Pils on offer.

Grassy aroma, which is typical for the style, with strong buttery notes, which is less typical. Bitter taste that gives way to a buttery popcorn taste. Lot's of butter character in this one.

21-01-18 // 500ml bottle. Clear golden, solid white head. Crispy grains with a mild malty sweetness and a mild hop bitter finish with soem grassy hay notes.

A great Pils from Frankonia. Bottled in typical bottle for the region. A truly refreshing pils. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grumpelmies (431) - GERMANY - OCT 18, 2017
Bottle. Golden coloured with a decent head. Aroma of grains, malts and noble hops. Taste is grainy, grassy, earthy with a clear presence of noble hops. Pretty balanced but just a little bit too sweet for me. Medium carbonation. Definetely a Pils from the southern parts of Germany. Rather nondescrepit but süffig and alright.

Bottle. Clear golden colour, tall frothy head average retention. Aroma: subtle malts, honey, spicy hops. Light to medium body. Very smooth on the palate. Bittersweet taste. Very clean. Moderately malty. Nice hoppy accent. Light to medium bitter noble spicy / grassy ending. Very nice

Ein ingesamt mildes Pils, mit leicht herber Note und malziger Süße. Zwar kein Spitzenpils aber gute Hopfennote und im Geschmack scheint trockener Naturtofu durch (glaub ihr net? Dann probiert’s doch selbst!) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
