500ml bottle @ Zinnkeller, Helsinki. Pours very dark reddish brown, almost black. Aroma of roasted malt, bread and some plum and other dark fruits. Roasted flavour with caramel and some grassy hops. Dryish finish.
Dark, dark red appearance (almost black!) - . Coffee / licorice aroma. Toasted malts on taste - a balance of biiterness and sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation, moderate sweet finish. Nice Schwarzbier. higgsbison (274) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 28, 2017
Sweet. Roasted malt with notes of black coffee and unsweetened cocoa. Not a standout brew but solid and quite drinkable.

Bottle from a small shop next to Alcostock in Tallinn harbour. BB 23.02.2018. Deep brown with steady creamy beige head. Pleasant soft roast and black bread aroma and flavour, some mild grassy hops, sweetish molasses, at points almost like chocolate and cacao, some dried dates perhaps; balanced, albeit just a bit too sweet and not very roasty. Very fine carbonation, extremely soft on the palate, excellent drinkability - I just wanna gulp this down and grab another bottle.

Jabic (733) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - AUG 5, 2017
Ar: Black tea and toast; a slight, clean bit of roast and ash. Ap: Deep brown, opaque; medium light mocha head with moderate-low retention, leaving a donut shape with foam edges as it resides. T: Intense malt with a bit of licorice; softly chocolaty; pear and brown sugar; bitterness is medium, firm, and comes along with a herbal flavor; toasty flavor grows through the palate, with some light ash at the end. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; finish is medium-dry. O: A beer with a malt focus coupled with a lean and dry drinkability; roast and toast lend quite a bit of richness.
