thornecb (5770) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 3, 2008
Pours bright gold from a mini-get into a shaker. Mostly off-white foam. Very little aroma or flavors. Bland, sweet and flat -- not a treat.

austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - MAY 10, 2008
Bottle bbe 6/2007. Dark golden, small lacing head. Nose is slightly syrupy malts, cornflakes and rye bread. Sweetish and dull. Syrupy malty flavor, some raisins and little diacetyl. Medium to full bodied, smooth palate. I guess it’d be better fresh, or not.

Drake (13259) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 31, 2008
Bottle. Thank you bierkoning! Pours light golden colored with a decent sized head. Aroma is that of your standard pale lager. Taste is smooth, but a bit sour. Decently full-bodied. Looks and tastes like a rich man’s Corona.

presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 21, 2008
Bottle in Mexico. Attractive golden yellow catches the light nicely in the glass. Soft thin head coats the beer and the sides of the hotel tumbler. Very thin grassy aroma. Tasty cream body is more like a light pilsener. Bready and grassy flavours.

Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - JAN 10, 2008
Too bitter for me, but I recognize the quality of its hops. I like to find new beers, but it’s just too bitter.

Mogwai (227) - Askeby, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2008
Bottle. Pours a golden/"dark pilsner" colour. Aroma of rye bread, a litlle bitter. Flavour is light sweetness, bitterness and a lot of YUCK!! Not my type of beer, let alone Christmas beer. Tastes like Carlsberg/Tuborg pilsner. And that’s not a compliment. Not even from a Dane! :-(
