Tamsus alus.

77ships (11601) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 31, 2016
(Kiev 2016) 750 ml. bottle split by 2 at Klaipeda. Murky brown amber with little off-white head. Nose is sweet compote, dates, dreid fruits, raisin, touch rain water, kvass, bread, caramel, sugar. Taste is wort, sweet dates, raisin, heavy bread, kvass, sugar, rotting wed fruits, dates, low ditch water, leaves, caramel, sugar. Low carbonation, touch watery in the back. If you like non-industrial kvass, dates & dark bread you will love thing, I can see this not appealing to most flavor preferences here, there is definitely a crowd for this, I find it it lovely, the crowd is not the RB one, shame about the leaves, mold & ditch water bitch in the finish, without that, I would have definitely ranked this one higher, definitely enjoyed this one.

Marduk (8819) - Reval, ESTONIA - NOV 14, 2015
750ml bottle (thanks Pitsu & co). Wrapped in paper. Hazy dark amber color. Tiny to no head. Infected. Puke, acidic, vomit in aroma. Acidic, red currant, sour in taste. Acidic red currant in aftertaste. Typical Lithuanian choosen the wrong path of drinkability.

McNeillR (2336) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2015
Murky amber, decent ringed head and greasy lacing filmy sand coloured head. Mineral earthy nose, lean lemon and a but watery. Neat soapy citrus initially, peachy and lean sweetness. Clean, soft carbonation. Lean enough bitterness, more terse soapy citrus than anything else for the finish.

Bottle, Cheers GlasgowTad, Tad Tasting

GlasgowTAD (2008) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2015
Pours a murky brown with a slight brown head which soon disappears. Aroma is caramel, toffee and slight grassy notes. Taste is toffee, butterscotch, slightly tart. Slight carbonation.

BenH (3424) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2015
Bottle thanks to Tad. Amber with off white head. Complex funky sharp earthy aroma, hay, grass. Taste of earth, yeast, some sharp notes, caramel. Dry with a very slight tang, refreshing

Stuu666 (15522) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2015
Bottle at tad’s. Pours deep orange amber, nose is malty toffee, caramel, floral, taste is sweet, juicy, not bad.

martjoobolut (5464) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 25, 2014
Bottle, shared by suurjuust, thanks! Pours amber with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is diacetyl, caramel, malt. Flavor is malt, diacetyl, hint of fruits, some smoke, and caramel. Overall: didn’t enjoy it. It’s probably because I really dislike diacetyl.

RexTalionis (3829) - FINLAND - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle 75 cl, BBE 22.12.2012. Pours brown in color with a minimal off-white head. Sweetish dark ripe fruits with notes of wet cellar and igt smokyness in aroma. Salty seawater, mineral and light smoky tones in taste. Quite smooth and easily drunken traditional ale.

Hermod (8616) - Vantaa, FINLAND - NOV 23, 2013
75cl bottle, thanks RexTalionis! Dark brown, thin white head. Bready, sweet malty, plums, toasty aroma. Flavor has bread, fruits, malt. Low carbonation. Easy, quite tasty dunkel.
