backlog from some time ago. Couldn’t make out the deScription from my notebook, just the ratings and: a bit sweet and very boring. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 24, 2012
In short: A lot of cereals in this honeyed sweetish blonde beer that tastes like Cheerios™. Decent.TaktikMTL (7874) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 26, 2012
How: Tap at Šnekutis Užupis, Vilnius, Lithuania, and from a bottle directly at the brewery
The look: Clear golden-blonde body topped by a very small white head
In long: Timid nose of sweet cereals. Taste is clean honeyed cereals with a light nutty toastiness, a bit of sweet corn, a slightly oily mouthfeel. Not much hops here so the beer feels a little sweet. Quite drinkable but nothing that excited my taste buds. A Traditional Ale that tastes like a basic hop-free premium lager. Basically I noted that this beers tastes like my Cheerios™ cereals (yes I still eat that stuff). I’m not sure which is the most shameful, the fact that I’m a grown up man with over 4,000 beer ratings who admits still eating Cheerios, or the fact that I’m a grown up man who took the time to type over 4,000 beer ratings.
En fût. Pinte dégustée chez Šnekutis Old Town (Vilnius, Lituanie). My Bottom Line:anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 27, 2011
Honeyed and lightly toasted cereals give this Šviesus plenty of elegant character, as discreet almonds and citrusy fruitiness add depth.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the clear gold.
-This is very clean and supremely drinkable. Not sure in what condition the bottles were for some of the ratings posted on this site as there was no tartness at all in this pint.
-This is as professional as the rest of the Kupiskio lineup.
-This may not be the most compelling Lithuanian Pale (Šviesus), but it is certainly enjoyable from beginning to end.
On tap at Šnekutis Užupis.

500ml bottle (Bambalyne, Vilnius)Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2011
Fruity aroma, some cottage cheese once the head settles. Misty pale orange. Huge head settles quite slowly. Milky smooth palate, decent carbonation. Quirky sweet milky taste. plenty of hops, lots of aromatic components, and a tonne of bitterness too. Lacticity is too high, but this is a very interesting brew. Would probably score more fresher.
Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Cloudy yellow - white head. Soapy, fruity, ok hoppy, light malty, pilsner malty, citrus, light lactic - milkey. joergen (28720) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2011
