It’s pitch black with a huge, nougat colored, creamy head. The aroma has notes of hard roasted malt, licorice and coffee. The flavour has notes of hard roasted malts, a light sweetness, notes of licorice, coffee, light dark fruit, chalk and a dry, roasted bitterness. It’s very up-front in it’s somewhat raw, roasted, dry and bitter expression. It could have had more notes in between, but it’s charming boldness makes me forget all about that. Black color, creamy brown head. Sweet, chocolate, alcohol scent. Sweet, salty, roasted, alcohol taste. Medium smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Grainy aftertaste.
Near black colored with dark brown colored head. Rich aroma with vanilla roastiness, strong coffee with licorice also here. Berries with some sourness also here. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is more roasted with coffee dominating, berries also present. Somehow short ending with roastiness still, not sure about this sourness here.
