On tap at Vices & Versa, Montreal on 4th July 2017. Hazy amber with almost white foam and full lacing. Spicy, yeasty aroma. Rich and intense spicy hoppiness in-mouth with tart apricot and plum notes. Nuttiness in evidence - hazelnut. A very satisfying bitter finish. Full-bodied with an engaging mouthfeel. This beer is exquisite.

On tap on premise. Clear bright golden with a small-medium white head, good retention, leaving good lacing. Aroma is of peppery/spicy yeast with fun farmhouse notes, lovely herbalness, citrus and honeyed cereals. Taste is peppery with honeyed cereals, a very mild acidity that suits the farmhouse character perfectly, resinous notes but very little bitterness. Medium body. Good-bright carbonation. Fluffy mouthfeel. Peppery and fruity finish, dry. This is a great Belgian Saison that hits all the right buttons. Very high drinkability. The yeast is showcased really well. Carbonation and mouthfeel are exactly as they should be. Fantastic stuff!

on tap at isle de garde, mtl. almost clear light golden pour with a very creamy off-white head offering good retention and lacing. citrusy apricots, creamy citrus, fruity golden maltiness, lots of chewy cereals, light chewable estery phenols, very fruity and spic zesty sheisoawne character with a wild aura, pepper, soft and tender resin. bright to moderate carbonation, light body - oily; drying citrusy finish. even some rusticity - very nice lightly hopped american saison. way more enjoyed than red wine barrel-aged version.
