Not a saison, by any stretch of the imagination. This is a perfumed lager.JoeMcPhee (10140) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2011
330ml clear bottle with ringpull (Outdoor Stall, Riga Market)
Rotten. Blech, blech, blech. Pale, a bit fizzy, and the clear glass for ultimate lose. Papery, thin, crap and nasty. 2nd quickest DP in living memory.
Bottle from the corner store. Thin white head and a bit of light orange colour. The nose is pretty spicy and a toich fruity as well. Sort of lightly fruity with a bit of very floral character. Spicy and fairly dry. Light bodied but surprisingly authentic. Lavender and a touch of light apple/pear flavour on the finish. After two days of fairly simple lagers this is pretty damn tasty stuff. A little bit of lemon citrus rind as well. Really good stuff.
