It is Dižalus that can proudly call itself our strongest beer. However, a carefully selected malt body combined with bitter Magnum hops allows us to create a balanced taste and aroma. That is why this beer is still refreshing and easy to drink.

TÕS5. Can. Pours yellow with minimum white head, dissappears in seconds. Aroma is malty, rubbery, hay-grass, raw apples, oily garage aromas.Taste is rubbery, malty, slight hay, slight caramel, slightly bitter, slightly sweet. Not bad.

Ohh yes, that is what you call "BAMSLIS in the can" ! That sour pilsener, corn aroma diverts in the sweet taste. And at the ed of the can- the long time lost taste of p**s lager

Senka (1097) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 24, 2015
From the Germany trip 2010: smooth and soft fortified lager. Goes down easily even when warm. Enjoyed inside a car on a way back. Later tries were also ok.

50cl can from Rimi, Riga. Pours clear pale golden with a rather decent, white head. Grainy aroma with notes of honey, cooked vegetable and alcohol. Sweetish, but less than expected, not much flavour, just a bit grainy with slightly warming alcohol and some bitterness in the finish. Quite unbalanced, and I really can’t see the purpose of this beer other than for getting drunk. Bought it by mistake, saw the black colour on the can and thought maybe there was something dark inside to, but.... Still it is drinkable and I have had worse, but this is rather meaningless .

Directly from can. Disgusting taste of rotten meat, raw grain. Leaves a luxurious soury astringent aftertaste.

mandaritto (247) - LATVIA - JUL 13, 2014
Golden color, almost no head. Aroma: white wine, quite disturbing and unbalanced. Strong alcohol heat, but weak, watery aftertaste, dry mouth feel. Quite drinkable, but I cannot say I like it.

larsga (7675) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 31, 2013
Big white slightly coarse head. Clear yellow body. Light mealy buttery aroma of nothing very much. Sweet-dryish mealy buttery alcoholic taste. Mid-to-full body. Mild, slick, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish dusty strawy mealy aftertaste with alcoholic notes. Very bland. Not unpleasant, but there’s no reason to drink a beer this strong when it tastes of almost nothing. (0.5l can from Stockmann, Riga.)

Vells (1980) - Rīga, LATVIA - MAY 25, 2013
Clear golden with medium to thin off white head. Lacing Aroma.. malts, bread, some grassy hops, weird honeylike, alcohol Sweetish with bitter finish. Not worst, but theres a long way to call this decent. Unbalanced, thou not awful
