Jeez, you guys have no appreciation for a good blonde ale :) Light hazy blond colour. Honeyish citric hop aroma. Light, wheaty body. Fruity notes. Curranty, hoppy finish. I don't know if this is just ahead of its time or what, but personally I think it's about time North America caught on to the English way of making golden ales. Hazy blonde with a thin white head. Fruity malt with notes of melon. A nice grainy malt, cereal-like, with a nice dryness, and a good hoppy finish, sufficient for this beer. Medium bodied. On tap at brewery, Oct. 8, 2006. jercraigs (10921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2003
Pours golden pale with a thin white head, and ok lacing. Aroma is of spice? Slight smoke notes, and an earthy bitterness. Not that great. MartinT (10102) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 15, 2002
Quiet balance of dry peppery hops and white grapes/malt...Well-made but uneventful blond ale... mabel (9874) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 26, 2007
[135-20061209] 500mL. Straw-like aroma with hints of meat. Cloudy, very pale yellow body with a big medium-lasting white head. Tastes like watery yeast with a little fruit, light apple and that Quebec feel. Light body. No sock-knockery here.

(Rating #1006) blankboy (7833) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 15, 2006
Bottle shared with the gang at Decemberfest 2006 -- courtesy of ? Who brought this? Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is grainy along with some yeast, fruit (mostly citrus) and some faint hops. Watery, yeasty flavour with grain, some citrus and spices and faint floral hops. Light bodied. It’s all pretty bland making for a pretty mediocre ale. Radek Kliber (7487) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 25, 2003
Malt ale, slightly smoky. Flat feel oily, at the very finish bitter. Medium light body HogTownHarry (7077) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - SEP 22, 2006
Draught. At La Barberie brewpub, Québec City. Cloudy pale - very pale, very cloudy - yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma of slightly sour grain with vague fruit and lemon. Taste is also sour, very grainy/wheaty, hop character but quite dry and stale, incredibly faint tart fruitiness hovering around somehow. Extremely watery, lightly carbonated and astringent, wants to be either sweet or acidic, fails at both - pretty blehhh.
