500 ml bottle. Pours a clear, somewhat flaky, straw with a thick, resilient white head. Aroma is herbal, fruity and sweet. Flavor is pils malt, sweet and fruity. Finish is herbal hops, light bittering. Light body, average carbonation.

My Bottom Line:
This delicate Saison-like quencher shines through ample effervescence, straw-like cereals, citrusy hop accents and herbal whispers.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the misty pale golden shine.
-The yeast is very much Saison like, adding bready and peppery notes.
-Hop dosage is intelligent. This brew is balanced from nose to finish.
-Drinkability is through the roof.
-Mouthfeel is on the dry side and bitterness, although subtle, is minty-fresh.

Bottle.

500ml bottle from Guyon Farm. Aroma: tropical fruits, pineapples. App: hazy pale, huge white head with good retention leaving some nice lacing. Taste and palate: light body, high carbonation, light bitter finish. Overall: not bad aroma and taste but it?s way to carbonated, that really affects the appreciation of this beer. Overall a good beer but would appreciate it much more with less carbonation.

New and fresh bottle from Peluso. Smells yeasty and drinks like a saison with pepper and hops more in the finish. Quaffable.

Bottle from flaveurs d’ici A: citrusy, tropical, light spiciness app: hazy pale thick white head and great lacing. T/p: thin body with moderate long bitter finish. Crisp. Fizzy O: great. I sometimes find smash a little boring but this one isn’t. The element chosen play well together creating a nice thirst quencher. Carbonation is a little too high for my taste. That adjusted, it would make this brew a good session candidate.

Bottle (500 ml) from La Duchesse d’Aiguillon, thanks Minderbinder!

Appearance: Slightly hazy bright golden with a medium white head, good retention and good lacing.

Aroma: Belgian yeast, grassy and herbal hops, lemony notes and light peppery presence... quite fruity.

Taste: Yeasty and herbal with moderate fruitiness, lemony notes, light peppery presence and mild to moderate bitterness.

Palate: Medium body (on the light-ish side though). Medium-good carbonation. Rather dry finish. Fruity and herbal aftertaste.

Overall: Very easy drinking Belgian IPA. The mouthfeel is nice. Like others have said, it’s fun to see a good hoppy Belgian beer with a rather low abv. Tasty stuff.
