Bière cuivrée aux arômes floraux de houblon frais. En bouche, le palais est envahi par une franche amertume puis est soutenu par le malt et le houblon. La finale est très longue et toute en houblons.

500 ml bottle. Bitter beer (like most IPA). Cloudy beer, yellow-orange color. Medium carbonation. If you like IPA’s, you’ll like this one.

odeur de pamplemousse, saveur d’agrumes, très amère. corps mince, orange avec une mousse étonnement soutenue. Pas mauvaise mais ce n’est pas vraiment mon style de bière.

JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 24, 2005
Orange coloured beer with a heavy yeast suspension. Thick white lacing, sticky. Aroma is very citrusy, fresh orange and grapefruit. Some bready malts, a bit of biscuity character and also a slight cheesy note. I suspect this is infected. Flavour is a bit phenolic, some C hops and light malty character. Thin body. Still, not what it should be.

Ungstrup (37902) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2005
A hazy dark orange beer with a huge orange head with spots in it from yeast sediment, which also leaves some sediment floating around. The aroma is hoppy and very sharp. The flavor is slightly sour and dusty and quite hoppy, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - SEP 21, 2005
Hoppy nose, with a strange oaky touch, slight maltyness in the background. Hazy orange body, small white head. Weak hoppy flavored and quite light body.

madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2005
Bottled: Orange coloured. Unclear. Fluffy off white head. Very hoppy aroma. Herbal and sweet. Earthy artificial hops in the flavour. Quite sweet and watery. Light bitter in the end.

3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Has a tinny aroma with a mixture of fruit: pulpy navel oranges, apricots, peaches and some meaty corn or something. Has a certain acetone chemical flavor along with a slightly sour orange and some more tinny qualities.

beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2005
500 ml bottle, St-Ambroise pint glass. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick, diminishing frothy white head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Strong aroma of resinous and citrusy hops with subdued caramel. The flavor is dominated by the strong hops leaving no chance to feel some maltiness, bitter finish. Light to medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. It’s too unbalanced and uni-dimensional.

omhper (25254) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2004
Bottled. Amber colour, rich head. Striking grapefruit aroma. Dry with clean mouthfeel. Medium body and very hoppy. It’s not very firm, but still good.
